Introduction of Seikei University
Seikei University is a well-known private university located in Musashino, Tokyo. Established in 1949. The name of the school "Chengqu" is taken from the last word of the proverb "Peach and plum don't say anything, the next step will make a difference" mentioned by Sima Qian, a historian in China. Seikei University has always had a close relationship with Mitsubishi Group of Japan. The predecessor of the school can be traced back to 1906, which belonged to Mitsubishi chaebol at that time; The university is set at 1949. Seikei University, together with Gakuen University, Chengda University and Musashi University, is called the "Big Four in Tokyo". Besides, Seikei University is famous for its beech trees on campus. Although it has a similar name to Seikei University in Osaka, there is actually no connection between the two universities. The current Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe graduated from the school.
