In order to commemorate the patriotic students who died in the "anti-persecution for democracy" student movement and Tongji heroes who died during the democratic revolution, Tongji University Student Movement Memorial Park was built in May 1985, which is the youth education base in Shanghai.

The memorial park covers an area of 4,400 square meters, and it includes the statue of alumni who died in the May 30th patriotic movement, Yin Fu, one of the five martyrs of the Left League, the relief statue of Yuan Martyr, the anti-Japanese county magistrate behind enemy lines, the relief statue of Tongji students who participated in the patriotic movement, and President Zhou Junshi who died in the White Mansion of Chongqing Sino-American Cooperation Office. The memorial park is open to students free of charge, and can hold adult ceremonies and group (team) joining ceremonies for 18 years old.
