Academic Research of China University of Political Science and Law
Since its establishment, China University of Political Science and Law has formed a close cooperative relationship with the National People's Congress and its Standing Committee. From the drafting of the first constitution of People's Republic of China (PRC) in 1954, to the promulgation of the basic law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, to the argumentation and discussion of the Anti-Secession Law and the Property Law, and finally to the adoption, almost all important national laws were born and implemented in China University of Political Science and Law.

From 1978 to 2000, the school participated in the demonstration and drafting of major national legislation 1000. Professor Qian Duansheng served as the chairman of the advisory committee for the drafting of "1954 Constitution", and led many scholars from the schools of constitutional law, administrative law and criminal law to participate in the drafting of the first constitution of new China. Professor Jiang Ping is the head of the legislative expert group drafting the Chinese Civil Code; Professor Chen Guangzhong served as the head of the expert group on the revision of the criminal procedure law; Professor Wu Changzhen is the leader of the expert group on the revision of the Marriage Law, which played a very important role in the drafting and revision of important laws in the Republic of China.

Entering the 2 1 century, in 2006 alone, entrusted by the Supreme People's Court, NPC Law Committee, the National People's Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC) General Office and the State Council Legal Affairs Office, the school completed the Partnership Law, Anti-Money Laundering Law, Anti-Monopoly Law, Minors Protection Law, Drug Control Law, Emergency Response Law and Rural Land Contract Dispute Arbitration Law. From the discussion of "legal equality" in 1950s to the dispute between "rule by man and rule by law" after the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee and the re-understanding of "the essence of law", the constitutional theory, human rights theory and market economy of "a country ruled by law" are the judgments of economy ruled by law, the socialist concept of rule by law and the judicial systems in China, Macao and Taiwan.

The national rule of law construction focuses on the beneficial experience of the world rule of law construction, and it is necessary to establish a scientific research platform with comparative vision and ability. China University of Political Science and Law took the lead in academic research on German law, American law, European law, Japanese law and Korean law, which initiated the research on national law and comparative law in China. It has not only trained a group of scholars who enjoy high reputation in related fields and countries, but also introduced scientific research achievements that have an important impact on the country's transnational rule of law.

China University of Political Science and Law also has great influence in the fields of value philosophy, RMB exchange rate research, modern thought history, globalization, social psychology, western political thought history, religious philosophy and academic criticism. As of 20 15 and 1, China University of Political Science and Law has 1 national key laboratories, 2 key research bases of humanities and social sciences of the Ministry of Education, 1 Beijing research base of philosophy and social sciences, 1 national human rights education and training base, and cooperates with the Supreme People's Court, Ministry of Land and Resources, Ministry of Justice and Guangming. In 20 13, the collaborative innovation center of judicial civilization led by the school became one of the first batch of 14 national "20 1 1 plan" collaborative innovation centers approved by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance. Collection resources

The library of China University of Political Science and Law is the earliest library in China, which mainly focuses on legal and political books. This museum not only collects almost all legal documents and academic works in Chinese mainland since 1980, but also comprehensively collects all kinds of legal publications since the late Qing Dynasty, including codes, regulations and case compilations. The school library is located in Xueyuan Road Campus and Changping Campus, in which the library of Changping main campus is divided into Wen Yuan Library and Fayuan Library.
