Xi Radio and TV University (referred to as Xi TV University for short) is a comprehensive open university with modern information technology as the main means, and it is one of the 44 provincial TV universities in China.
Xi Radio and TV University was founded on1October 26th, 1979, approved by Shaanxi Provincial People's Government, sponsored by Xi Municipal People's Government, headed by Xi Education Bureau, and under the business guidance of Central Radio and TV University. The school has now developed into four directly affiliated colleges, seven directly affiliated branches, five suburban county-level branches, and 18 workstation.

Blue is composed of blue and white, and blue means: wisdom, preciseness, seriousness and standardization; White implication: integrity, purity and nobility. The whole logo is concise, positive, cheerful, lively and eye-catching.
Logo design is composed of circular and modern simple graphics, which has strong visual impact and imagination space. The circle is the initial letter of "openness", which represents the primary feature of RTVU teaching-open education. The design of the city wall not only reflects the regionality of Xi TV University, but also reflects the profound cultural heritage of the school.
