Henan University, located in Kaifeng City, Henan Province, was founded in 19 12. After Zhongzhou University, Henan Sun Yat-sen University, provincial Henan University, national Henan University, Henan Normal University, Kaifeng Normal University and Henan Normal University, the name of Henan University was restored on 1984.
