Shanxi University, located in Taiyuan, the capital of Shanxi Province, is a comprehensive research university jointly established by the Shanxi Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Education [1]. It is the first batch of universities built by the Ministry of Education, one of the five universities supported by the central region of the country, and the national "comprehensive strength improvement project for universities in the central and western regions" (one province and one school) 14. The first batch of universities in China, the sponsors and members of the National Cooperation Conference of nine local comprehensive universities, the members of the Midwest University Alliance, the institutions affiliated to the China government scholarship for overseas students in China, and the work research center established by the Ministry of Education are qualified as graduate schools, and are exempt from recommending graduate students and professors for evaluation.
