The Historical Evolution of Social College of Shanghai University
Since 200 1, sociology department has introduced 19 young and middle-aged teaching and research backbones from famous universities and research institutes at home and abroad, forming an academic team with young and middle-aged scholars as the main body, high academic level, enterprising spirit and innovative ability, broad vision and unity and cooperation. This discipline was listed as the key discipline of Shanghai Education Commission in the first phase on 1986, and as the key construction discipline of "2 1 1 project" of the Ministry of Education in the first, second and third phases since 1996. In 2005, "Urban Social Studies" was selected as the dominant key discipline in Shanghai. In 2007, the two disciplines emerged from the fierce competition and became one of the four national key disciplines of sociology.

This discipline now has China Social Transformation and Social Organization Research Center, Shanghai University Sociology E Institute, Shanghai Social Science Investigation Center, Sociology Research Institute, Shanghai Social Development Research Center, Political Party Research Center, Anthropology Research Institute, Women's Issues Research Center, Ethnic Group Research Center, Immigration Research Center and other scientific research institutions. Among them, China Social Transformation and Social Organization Research Center is one of the first batch of 10 key research bases of humanities and social sciences in Shanghai universities established by Shanghai Education Commission in 2007, Institute of Sociology E of Shanghai University is one of the first batch of six universities established by Shanghai Education Commission in 2003, and Shanghai Social Science Investigation Center is an interdisciplinary investigation base established by Shanghai University. In 2009, the Shanghai Municipal Government affiliated the center and established the Shanghai Social Investigation and Research Center, Shanghai University Sub-center.

Since 2005, teachers in this discipline have won the major bidding project 1 of the National Social Science Fund, the general project of the National Social Science Fund, the youth project 13, 6 projects of the Ministry of Education, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Civil Affairs, 26 projects of decision-making consultation in Shanghai Zheshe and Shanghai, and 46 projects above the provincial and ministerial level. Won the New Century Talent Plan of the Ministry of Education 1 person, Fok Ying-tung Young Teacher Award 1 person, 2 people in Shanghai, 6 people in Pujiang, 2 people in Shuguang, and Chen Guang 1 person, totaling 13 people. He has published 365,438+0 academic papers in top journals such as China Social Sciences (Chinese and English version), Sociological Research, Xinhua Digest, China Social Sciences Digest and SSCI Daily.

In previous Shanghai Philosophic Society and Deng Xiaoping Theory Research Outstanding Achievement Awards, he won 3 first prizes, 5 second prizes, 5 internal discussion outstanding achievements, 7 third prizes and 7 online publicity awards. Some of the research results have been highly valued by the relevant leaders of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, and some of the research results have been transformed into specific policies of local governments.
