Jinjiang Campus of Fuzhou University was founded by Fuzhou University and Jinjiang City on 20 15 1 1 under the background that Fuzhou University and Jinjiang Municipal People's Government vigorously inherited and carried forward the Jinjiang experience and the three spirits of Fuzhou University to speed up high-quality development. The campus is located in jinjing town, Jinjiang City, a national characteristic town with beautiful scenery, with a total area of 1 1,380 mu.

According to the layout of "two academies and two parks", the "two academies", namely the Advanced Manufacturing College of Fuzhou University and the Ocean College of Fuzhou University, are full-time education, which can accommodate 4,500 students. The "two parks", namely Jinjiang Branch of National University Science Park of Fuzhou University and Entrepreneurship Education Park of Fuzhou University, can accommodate 2,500 innovative and entrepreneurial talents after completion.

The campus is constructed in two phases. The first phase covers an area of about 550 mu, including two academies, a science park and a pioneer park, with a total construction area of 210.6 million square meters. At present, 654,380+0.6 million square meters of construction, equipment procurement and surrounding municipal facilities have been completed, forming a red brick and white stone landscape campus with Minnan architectural style.

Jinjiang Campus of Fuzhou University will include Jinjiang Graduate School of Fuzhou University, Jinjiang Branch of National University Science Park of Fuzhou University and Jinjiang Research Institute of Fuzhou University, Entrepreneurship Education Park of Fuzhou University, Advanced Manufacturing College of Fuzhou University and Ocean College of Fuzhou University.
