Beihua University is the largest provincial key comprehensive university in Jilin Province and a well-known comprehensive university in Northeast China.

Beihua University, referred to as Beihua for short, is located in Jilin City, Jilin Province. It is a full-time ordinary university established by the people's government of Jilin Province, a provincial comprehensive key university, a university jointly established by the people's government of Jilin Province and the State Forestry and Grassland Bureau, and a provincial doctoral program construction unit in Jilin Province. It is the first batch of pilot universities in China to reform the "Excellent Doctoral Education and Training Plan" and "Excellent Agricultural and Forestry Talents Education and Training Plan".
