Gansu University of Political Science and Law is the only ordinary undergraduate political science and law college in Gansu Province. It is the earliest provincial-level undergraduate college of political science and law in China. Its predecessor was Gansu Provincial School of Political Science and Law, which was founded in 1956. Gansu University of Political Science and Law was formally established on 1984 to provide general higher education.
In 2006, the school obtained the qualification of a master's degree awarding institution, and began postgraduate education in 2007, and international education in 20 17. In the same year, it was confirmed as the construction unit of the doctoral degree awarding project in Gansu Province, and it was the first batch of national excellent legal talents education and training base colleges, the second batch of national college practice education, innovation and entrepreneurship education bases, and the member unit of "Li Ge Alliance" of national political and legal colleges. 2065438+In June 2009, it was renamed Gansu University of Political Science and Law.
Discipline and major:
There are 37 undergraduate majors in the school, covering six disciplines such as law, management, engineering, literature, economics and art. There are two national first-class undergraduate majors in law and information security, and nine provincial first-class majors in public administration and business administration. At the same time, it has three provincial-level disciplines, among which law is the dominant discipline in Gansu Province, evidence law and business administration are the characteristic disciplines in Gansu Province, and there are eight provincial-level key disciplines.
