Double degree (minor) implements special teaching plan. The general study period is 2 years. Classes are held as planned every semester, and classes are generally held separately. Double degree (minor) courses are generally arranged in short semesters, weekends or holidays. Students can take all or part of the courses, and at the beginning of each semester, they can go through the payment and registration procedures with the colleges offering minor majors according to the actual elective results.

1. All the courses you take must pass the examination before you can get credit. Unqualified courses are allowed to retake the exam.

2. Unregistered courses that participate in the audit are not allowed to take the exam, and the results are invalid.

3. Students can apply for exemption if the minor curriculum is the same as or lower than the major curriculum; If the credits and degrees of the minor major are higher than those of the major, students can't be exempted. However, students can apply in writing to the teacher for partial exemption at the beginning of the semester, and those who are approved, take part in the course assessment and pass the exam can get credits for the course.

Double degree (minor in undergraduate major) must be completed in the same year as the major. If a student fails to complete the minor teaching plan within the professional academic system, he/she may apply for an extension of undergraduate graduation if he/she wishes, so as to continue to complete the minor. The time for students to apply for extension of undergraduate graduation due to minor is limited to one year, which cannot exceed the maximum length of undergraduate study (six years for four-year program and seven years for five-year program).

4. Failure in minor courses does not affect professional graduation and degree awarding; However, in order to ensure the normal completion of the major, those who fail professional courses, need to retake the exam after accumulating 6 credits, or have a record of cheating in the exam should be suspended from their minor qualification.

The dean in charge of teaching of the college to which the student belongs shall review and approve, and the academic staff of the college shall summarize and report to the Academic Affairs Office (or the Academic Affairs Office of Zhangzhou Campus).

The Academic Affairs Office will conduct research with the departments offering undergraduate minor majors, and determine the admission list on the basis of planned enrollment, students' overall academic performance and related course results. If there are a large number of applicants, under the same circumstances, second-year students can take precedence over first-year students, and students with fewer popular majors can take precedence over students with more popular majors at present. Finally, the admission notice will be issued by the school.

Each semester is charged according to the actual registered course results. The school's tentative charging standard: per credit for arts and sciences majors 100 yuan; Engineering, economics, management, medicine and architecture 120 RMB per credit. At present, this standard has been reported to the provincial price department for approval, and ultimately it will be subject to the standard approved by the provincial price department.
