Reasons why college students should not take part-time jobs.
Tell me about my own experience.

In the summer vacation of my sophomore year, a classmate and I decided not to go home to find a part-time job, and made it clear to our family that we would not go home. However, because we were not allowed to stay in school during the school holidays, we rented a house in a remote place, and the signal in the room was not good. At first, our parents were out of touch for two days. As a result, my parents called many relatives and friends and even contacted my classmates to find my whereabouts. I didn't call home until I saw the news on the Internet. After this incident, my parents no longer allowed me to do part-time jobs by myself.

I think there are three main reasons why parents don't allow their children to take part-time jobs:

I. Security issues

Now pyramid schemes are everywhere, and students who are still in school are not deeply involved in the world and are easily deceived. Part-time job is only a temporary job, and there is a great possibility of being cheated.

Second, learning problems.

Taking a part-time job will take up a certain amount of time. For parents, since children are still studying, reading is definitely the most important thing. If you want to earn money, you can wait until after graduation. Study hard, find a good job and earn more money.

Third, economic issues.

Generally speaking, in richer families, parents will not support their children to do part-time jobs. Because I have a regular part-time job, my salary will not be too high, and I won't care about the little money I get from part-time. Part-time jobs with high wages are mostly deceptive. For them, it is better to spend more time and energy to study and enrich themselves if they take part-time jobs.

For families with financial difficulties, parents prefer their children to spend time on study, because in their eyes, study is the only way out.

It is not excluded that some parents will support their children to find part-time jobs, but they certainly don't want their children to delay their studies or even be cheated into pyramid schemes.
