Google founder sergey brin (pictured above, right) was born in Moscow. He is an honorary graduate of the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. Then he was admitted to Stanford University as a computer major. He is currently dropping out of the doctoral program of the Computer Research Institute to fully develop Google.
Sergey brin's father, Michael Brin, was a mathematician who worked in the Planning Commission of the former Soviet Union. 1979 immigrated to the United States. Their family emigrated because of the discriminatory policy of the former Soviet Union against Jews. Michael said: "Apart from my own reasons, I left the former Soviet Union because of Sergei's future. I didn't consider that Sergei would become an industrial tycoon at that time. I only hope that he can get his doctorate smoothly and eventually become a useful person to society. Of course, it is best to be a professor like me. " However, Sergei did not follow the plan made by his father. He chose to drop out of school while studying for his Ph.D. at Stanford University, and together with Larry Page (first from left above), he founded the well-known Internet search engine Google.
Page graduated from Ann Arbor University in Michigan with a Bachelor of Science degree. Inspired by his computer professor father, Page began to use computers as early as 1979. At present, the doctoral program of the Computer Research Institute of Stanford University is temporarily suspended, and Google is operated together with his good friend Brin.
1998 In September, 25-year-old Page and 24-year-old Brin decided to set up a company in partnership, and the only service provided by the company was a search engine. Without knowing anything about the business plan, the two men successfully obtained the first investment: 65.438 billion+dollars from Bettol Scheim, an alumnus of Stanford University and the current vice president of Cisco. Their search engine, Google, was born in BackRub, and it was born in1996+1October. The latter was originally just an experiment by Page and Brin. One day, they were surprised to find that thousands of people were using the BackRub system, which was initially known to only a few tutors. The two were eager to sell BackRub, but at that time, the major portals were indifferent to this technology, and Page and Brin decided to do it themselves. Thus,1September 1998, Google was born in a garage. At the beginning, apart from Page and Brin, the company had only one employee, Craig Silverstone, who is now the technical director of Google.
