Ei-Ichi Negishi (ねぎしぇぃち, 1935 July 14-), a Japanese chemist, is a professor at Purdue University. Because of its contribution to "palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reaction in organic synthesis", the Swedish Academy of Royal Science announced on October 6, 20 10 that it would cooperate with richard heck and Akira Suzuki (Akira Suzuki,1postdoctoral researcher at Purdue University in 1960s, under the guidance of Professor Herbert C. Brown).
