The University of Southern California (USC) is a private research university located in Los Angeles. Founded by the Board of Supervisors on 1880, it is a member of association of american universities and Pacific Rim University Alliance.

The University of Southern California ranked 25th among the best universities in the United States in 2023. Among the alumni and faculty, there are 10 Nobel Prize winners, 6 MacArthur Prize winners and 1 Turing Prize winners.
