Fujian Normal University, jointly established by the Fujian Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Education, has been selected into China's "20 1 1 Plan", "Overseas High-level Talents Introduction Plan" and "Excellent Teacher Training Plan", and has a graduate school. It is one of the earliest normal universities in China, one of the three key high-level universities in Fujian Province, a teaching and training base for teaching Chinese as a foreign language in Southeast Asia, a pilot school for the state to recruit students from Taiwan Province Province, a key school for teaching Chinese in neighboring countries, an institution that receives scholarships from the China government for foreign students in China, the China-ASEAN Education and Training Center, the Basic Education Curriculum Research Center of the Ministry of Education, and a model centralized training project school of the national training plan.
