The college covers a total area of 65438 0.80 mu and is located in Kunming High-tech Industrial Development Zone with beautiful environment. With the design concept of "ecological environment, gardening and campus informatization", the academic European and American architectural style and rich British cultural atmosphere create an elegant learning and living environment. It has a first-class library, student activity center, audio-visual center, network center, multifunctional lecture hall, language lab, laboratory, student apartment and broadband information network all over the campus. This is a modern university that inherits civilization and brings forth the new. In August 2009, the provincial capital investment group signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Kunming Airport Economic Zone Management Committee, and chose Yangcaoao Group in the Airport Economic Zone to build a new campus. With the support and help of leaders at all levels in provinces and cities, the preliminary work of the project is progressing smoothly.
The net land is about 1 1 14 mu (779 mu of land has been expropriated), with a total construction area of about 700,000 square meters. The project is divided into two campuses, that is, the first phase of the South Campus covers an area of 430.67 mu, which is the main teaching function area with a total construction area of about 250,000 square meters. It is planned to build a teaching building, library, school administrative office building, student auditorium, student canteen, student dormitory, campus commercial street, wind and rain playground and school hospital.
