Qilu Hospital of Shandong University was founded in 1890. It has three campuses: Jinan Central Campus, Jinan East Campus and Qingdao Campus. It is a three-level first-class general hospital integrating medical treatment, scientific research, teaching and prevention, and it is a designated hospital for medical insurance and new rural cooperative medical system in Jinan.

It is the affiliated hospital of Shandong University, the Shandong regional center and demonstration center of American Heart Association (AHA) cardiovascular first aid training, one of the first batch of 24 standardized training demonstration bases for residents in China, and the national clinical pharmacology base.

Qilu Children's Hospital of Shandong University was founded in 1957. It is the only comprehensive third-class first-class children's hospital in Shandong Province, which integrates medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, prevention, rehabilitation and health care. It is the director unit of Beijing Children's Hospital Group, the chairman unit of Qilu Children's Medical Group, the key specialized hospital of Shandong Province, the children's hospital affiliated to Shandong University, and the doctoral and master's degree awarding point of Shandong University.
