Under the leadership of Professor Zhao Wei, the university established the first honorary college in Macau in 2009, and made every effort to reform the undergraduate curriculum, and launched a brand-new core general education curriculum in the 201/2012 academic year. 20 10 September, the University of Macau began to try out the "residential college Plan". In Hengqin New Campus, the University of Macau will be the first university in Asia to fully implement the "residential college System". In addition, in order to provide students with a unique holistic education, Professor Zhao Wei formulated a new four-in-one education model, namely, professional education, general education, learning education and community education.
