Datong Teachers College is not an undergraduate college, but a higher vocational college. Datong Teachers College, founded in 1905, is the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units. The school covers an area of 487 mu, and the project construction land is 324,829 square meters, with a total construction area of155,436.88 square meters.

Datong Teachers College is located in Hexi, He Shili, Shanxi Province, at the foot of Wuzhou Mountain. It is a century-old prestigious school with a long history and glorious tradition in northern Shaanxi. Founded in 19 13, 192 1 moved to the current campus. 1978 enrolled three-year normal college students, and in 2002 enrolled five-year normal college students who graduated from junior high school. In 2006, it was renamed Datong Normal Branch of Datong University, and on 20 18, it was renamed Datong Normal College.

The campus is divided into five areas: teaching area, living area, office area, sports area and cultural relics area. Among them, the teaching area consists of eight single buildings, including the teaching building of arts and sciences, the teaching building of foreign languages of art, the teaching building of audio-visual education, the teaching building of kindergarten teachers and the library.
