HKU is located in the bustling Hong Kong Island, only two or three subway stations away from Central. There are many people who come to visit and play at ordinary times, and the traffic here is very convenient. Take the Hong Kong Island Line directly to HKU subway station and take the elevator from Exit A to get there.
1. Main building) & Lukou Hall & Music Building
Let's talk about history first: the headquarters building was completed and started in 19 12, and it has a history of 107. The building belongs to the building of Edward VII era, and adopts the post-Renaissance architectural form, which is a model of classical Renaissance architecture in Hong Kong. A: God went to HKU with his relatives when he was very young. The first time I saw main building, I really fell in love with this campus. Later, I decided to study here. Now my dream has come true. )
Review before the final exam and come home late. When I passed the main building, I saw it vaguely in the dim light.
There is an auditorium called "Lu Youtang" in the main building, which is usually closed to the public. The exam will be used as an examination room, which can accommodate hundreds of people. Hundreds of people have the opportunity to sit in the auditorium exam together only once a semester (the landlord really cares about this ~ ~)
Well, after coming out of Lukou Hall, there is a distinctive building opposite the main building, which is HKU's music building.
2. School gate &; Centennial campus &; Zhihuaguan
When I was studying, I was often asked where the school gate with the big word "Hong Kong University" was. I wanted to point out the "East Gate" to those tourists, that is, the school gate, but on second thought, I felt that the school gate was too small, and those four words were not big enough ... So I pointed out two roads to them, one leading to the East Gate, and the other was the big red wall logo of the century-old campus (but that was not the school gate).
The picture below shows the East Gate of the University of Hong Kong (but those four words are almost blocked by trees, so please forgive me for not having a close-up on my mobile phone ~)
The picture below shows the red wall logo of the century-old campus (not bad, there are more tourists who punch in here than the school gate)
Centennial campus is a quiet place, dotted with small bridges and flowing water. The breeze blows on the face, and students study. The surrounding buildings above are Zhihua Pavilion (where students usually study and discuss). Zhihua Pavilion is fully equipped, but only for students)
3. Library:
There are many libraries in HKU, but I haven't finished visiting them. Students usually go to the main library, which has six floors. Jasper (a giant docile and lovely sheepdog came to the library) will meet you before the final exam. There are also law libraries, music libraries and the like.
There are often activities such as student debates outside the library, and Hong Kong stars come to hold small shows from time to time. Last time I read a book in the library, I looked down and found Wei Lan singing below, as well as Dear Jane and so on (the university in Hong Kong is a magical place ~).
4. Zhuang Yueming &; Meitang & Auditorium &; This mountain
Zhuang Yueming is also a famous building in HKU with a unique appearance. There is a story in it. It is said that Li Ka-shing donated a building in the name of his dead wife. There are many supernatural stories related to the main building and Zhuang Yueming Building in HKU, so I won't elaborate here. There are many students who come here at ordinary times, so you don't need to worry about some legendary problems at all. There are several restaurants in Zhuangyueming Building. I often go to have afternoon tea when I am tired of studying and look around at the green plants, but now Meixin seems to be closed to people outside the school.
Ok, then go out from the top floor of Zhuang Yueming and climb in the direction of Houshan, and you will see Yitang and Meitang.
In addition, climb from the back mountain to Longhu Mountain and then walk in the direction of Central, which is the famous Taiping Mountain. Answer: I usually like to invite my classmates to climb mountains for fitness. By the way, I like the famous night view of Hong Kong and the superior geographical location of HKU (the night view of Taiping Mountain is really beautiful ~! Ok, it's not HKU anymore, it's beside the point ~)
In fact, there are many places where HKU can punch in. I think there are scenery everywhere. Haha, we need to come here with beautiful eyes to explore slowly ~ answer, please continue to review the final term first, welcome to add, thank you for reading!
