Xi University of Finance and Economics is a university. Xi University of Finance and Economics is an ordinary institution of higher learning sponsored by the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government and approved by the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government and the National Bureau of Statistics. Its predecessor can be traced back to Northwest Trade School established by 1952, xi 'an Statistics School established by 1954, Shaanxi Finance School established by 1960 and Xi 'an Basic University established by 1978. The school has four campuses: Chang 'an, Yanta, Cui Hua East and Cui Hua West, covering an area of 1.600 mu. The Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Cuihua Campus are adjacent to the famous Big Wild Goose Pagoda in Tang Dynasty. Chang 'an Campus is located on the Shenheyuan at the northern foot of Qinling Mountains, with elegant environment and profound cultural heritage.
