Chaoyang University was a law university in the Republic of China. Founded in 19 12, the campus is located in Haiyuncang, Dongcheng District, Beijing (now Dongzhimen Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and Beixincang Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine are located). The founder is Wang Youling, and the chairman is Ju Zheng. The law department of Chaoyang University was very famous at that time, and there was a saying that "South Soochow, North Chaoyang". During his stay in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, Chaoyang University moved to Shashi, Hubei, Chengdu, Sichuan and Chongqing. 1945 and then moved back to Beiping. 1949, the People's Government of North China took over Chaoyang University and established China University of Political Science and Law in the original site (there is no inheritance relationship with the present China University of Political Science and Law). 1950 In February, China University of Political Science and Law merged with North China University and North China People's Revolutionary University to form China Renmin University. The school buildings, teachers, students and books of Chaoyang University belong to the Law Department of Renmin University of China, so some people claim that the Law School of Renmin University of China is the inheritance of Chaoyang University, but this statement has not been recognized by the school of Renmin University of China. thank you
