Tsinghua University ranks first in electric power engineering and automation, followed by Xi Jiaotong University and Zhejiang University.

1, Tsinghua University

The Department of Electrical Engineering and Applied Electronic Technology of Tsinghua University (hereinafter referred to as the Department of Electrical Engineering) was founded in 1932, which is one of the first three engineering departments established in Tsinghua University. 1989 took the lead in merging the original three majors of power system automation, high voltage technology and motor into a wide-caliber major of "electrical engineering and automation" and included it in the national professional recommendation catalogue. This discipline is the first batch of national first-class key disciplines and first-class doctoral programs, and it has remained the first or A+ in all previous discipline evaluations.

2.Xi Jiaotong University

The School of Electrical Engineering of Xi Jiaotong University was formerly the School of Electrical Engineering of Nanyang Public College (the predecessor of Jiaotong University), which was founded in 1908. It is the earliest electrician subject in China's higher education. The college has a strong faculty and advanced experimental equipment, and the two disciplines are the most complete. After a hundred years of vicissitudes, through the efforts of several generations, it has become one of the important bases for talent training and scientific research and innovation in the field of electrical engineering in China.

3. Zhejiang University

School of Electrical Engineering of Zhejiang University developed from the former Department of Electrical Engineering of Zhejiang University and was founded in 1920. It is called the Department of Electrical Engineering, and it is one of the earliest electrical departments in China. The College is located in Yuquan Campus of Zhejiang University, and consists of the Department of Electrical Engineering, the Department of Systems Science and Engineering, the Department of Applied Electronics and the Basic Teaching Center of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
