Is the undergraduate course in Australian universities a credit system? Is there a graduation exam at last? Is there a make-up exam for failing a course? Did you fail the make-up exam or give a certificate of completion or something?
There is no graduation exam in Australian universities. They study eight courses in two semesters a year, with a passing score of 50 in each course, with average grades and average final exams. If you fail, each university will handle it differently. Some universities can give you the opportunity to retake the exam, and some universities will let you retake the exam directly.
But if you don't graduate, there is no certificate of completion and so on. Either graduate or not.
If you can't graduate from studying in Australia, we generally think it's your learning attitude, not your ability.
