Liaoning University of Technology, referred to as "Liaoning University of Technology", is located in Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province and was founded in 195 1. It is a provincial full-time multi-disciplinary university with work as the main task and coordinated development of science, engineering, economics, management and literature.

It has been selected into the national key universities of the "Basic Capacity Building Project for Colleges and Universities in the Midwest", the national innovation and entrepreneurship base for practical education in colleges and universities, the scholarship receiving institution of China government for overseas students, the national innovation and entrepreneurship training program for college students, the first batch of pilot schools for the construction of emergency management colleges, the first batch of demonstration universities for deepening the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education in Liaoning Province, and the first-class discipline construction projects of colleges and universities in Liaoning Province.

The school covers an area of more than 630,000 square meters, and the library has more than 6,543,800+0,360 books, and the number of e-books has reached more than 638,000.
