Xidian university is a university directly under the central government, directly under the Ministry of Education and under the key construction of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It is the first batch of 20 national key universities determined by the Central Committee 1959, and the first batch of key universities for the construction of "2 165438+985 Project" and "165438+" innovation platforms for advantageous disciplines. The school is located in Xi 'an, the ancient capital of the 13th Dynasty, one of the four world-famous ancient civilizations. Its predecessor was the Broadcasting School of the Central Military Commission. It was born in Ruijin, Jiangxi in 193 1 and was transformed in 1966. President Mao Zedong wrote an inscription for the school twice.
