The Music Department of Peking University College of Art recruits musicology, vocal music and dance history, but has no piano major.

Peking University Institute of Art has four teaching institutions: Art Theory Department, Film and Television Department, Fine Arts Department and Music Department. Peking University Art College has three first-class disciplines: postdoctoral mobile station, doctoral program in art theory, master program in art theory, drama, film and television, and fine arts.
