In July, 2002, he obtained the Doctor of Science degree in pharmaceutical chemistry from Shenyang Pharmaceutical University. From February 20 10 to May 2010, he visited and studied at Oxford University in England.

Committed to the research and development of innovative anti-infection and anti-tumor drugs. The research on the anti-influenza virus activity of the new compound of N- substituted -5- hydroxy-1H- indole -3- carboxylate was supported by the National Natural Science Foundation and the National Tenth Five-Year Scientific and Technological Key Projects. On this basis, the anti-hepatitis B virus activities of these compounds were studied in depth, and they were successively funded by Liaoning Natural Science Foundation, National Natural Science Foundation and the national "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" major scientific and technological projects. Amido hydrochloride, a new anti-hepatitis B virus drug, has been approved by SFDA for phase I/II clinical trials and two domestic invention patents, and applied for 1 international PCT patent, which has been protected by patents in the United States, Japan, South Korea and India. There are 86 graduate students and 28 doctoral students, and nearly 130 papers have been published, including 65 papers included in SCI, and two textbooks of medicinal chemistry have been compiled.
One hundred talents from the "100 Million Talents Project" in Liaoning Province were selected into the "Outstanding Talents Support Program for Colleges and Universities in Liaoning Province" and won the honorary titles of "The Third Top Ten Scientific and Technological Talents in Shenyang", the Seventh Outstanding Scientific and Technological Worker in Liaoning Province and the Outstanding Expert in Liaoning Province.
