Southern Medical University, located in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, is the only national key university in Guangdong Province, one of the first eight universities in China to offer eight-year clinical medicine, the only medical college among key universities in Guangdong Province, and the first batch of pilot universities in China to educate and train excellent doctors (Chinese medicine).
