Freshmen in Donghu Campus generally live in Area A and have six rooms. They once moved to B or C (four rooms) after their sophomore year. Now, due to the expansion of the school, the dormitory is not enough. I am a class of 10. Some of us moved to Area C (Room 4) and some of us stayed in Room 6 in Area A. I wonder what the school will do with you. The six-person room is really crowded. There are four upper bunks and two lower bunks. The empty bed in the lower berth is a table for three. The desk is connected with the bookshelf. The bookshelf has three floors. Under the table, you can buy a large storage box with better sealing (there are many foods to put in Xiao Qiang). The entrance is a suitcase, and the place near the balcony is a wardrobe, one on each side and one for three people. Part of the second episode of the TV series "I am a Grass" was shot by our school, with pictures of the dormitory in Area A (both inside and outside the dormitory, and it is our dormitory). You can go and have a look if you are interested.

There are many cockroaches. During military training, an average of two or three cockroaches were killed every day.

As for the canteen, it varies from person to person. There are three canteens in the school: East Lake Canteen in Area A, Jixian Canteen in Area B, Dixijing Canteen in Area C, East Lake Canteen is the largest, and there is a halal canteen on the second floor. Personally, I think the food in East Lake is the best. The specialty of East Lake is duck chops (very spicy). The food in Jixian canteen is less than that in East Lake, and the second floor is self-service. When I first started school, I thought the food in Jixian was delicious for a long time, but I still thought the food in East Lake was better. The food on the first floor of Xijing canteen is big but terrible, and the breakfast is ok. On the third floor of Xijing is the food city, where there are all kinds of snacks, such as iron plate rice, pasta, mala Tang, crock rice, clay pot rice, steamed buns and so on. The tofu rice cake that used to eat snacks in Shengzhou has gone bad since the boss changed it.

If you live in Area A, you need a bike to make progress. It takes 3 to 5 minutes to walk from Area A to the library and teaching building, 1 (farthest) to the college building for self-study. It usually takes 10 to 15 minutes. My roommate and I bought a bicycle when we started school, and we used it less than 10 times a year. How wonderful it is to stroll and enjoy such a beautiful campus!
