Mianyang City College, located in Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, is an ordinary full-time undergraduate college sponsored by Hefei Wanbo Social Enterprise Development Group Co., Ltd. with the approval of People's Republic of China (PRC) Ministry of Education and Sichuan Provincial People's Government.

The predecessor of the College is the City College of Southwest University of Science and Technology, which was jointly organized by Southwest University of Science and Technology and Hefei Wanbo Social Development Group Co., Ltd. with the approval of the education administrative department of the State Council in 2006. In 20021year, it was independently transformed into Mianyang City College with the approval of the Ministry of Education.
