As a part of Sun Yat-sen University, Zhuhai Campus of Sun Yat-sen University is an experimental area for cultivating high-quality talents, an expansion area for discipline construction and a radiation area for the transformation of scientific research achievements. All school teachers are sent by the headquarters, and all students are enrolled by Sun Yat-sen University. All teaching plans, teaching requirements and teaching modes are unified throughout the school.

Brief introduction of Zhuhai campus of Sun Yat-sen University
Sun Yat-sen University is a comprehensive key university founded by Dr. Sun Yat-sen with a long history and tradition. At present, there are three campuses and five campuses in Guangzhou, Zhuhai and Shenzhen, which are located on both sides of the Pearl River and the South China Sea. Among them, Zhuhai campus covers the widest area, covering an area of 3.57 1 square kilometer.
1September, 1999, Sun Yat-sen University and Zhuhai Municipal People's Government signed an agreement to jointly build Sun Yat-sen University Zhuhai Campus. In September 2000, the campus was completed and opened. Sun Yat-sen University, the first university introduced from Zhuhai, pioneered the cooperation between famous universities and local governments, and was praised as "Zhong Da-Zhuhai Model" by the society.
