Fushun Vocational and Technical College (formerly known as Fushun University) is a municipal full-time ordinary college approved by the Ministry of Education 1983, and 1997 was recommended by the Liaoning Provincial Education Commission as the only national demonstration vocational and technical university 17. In 2003, it was awarded "Advanced Unit of Vocational Education in Liaoning Province" by Liaoning Provincial Government. In 2004, it was designated by the Ministry of Education, the Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, and the National Machinery Industry Federation as "Training Project for Skilled Talents of CNC Technology Application Specialty".
