Analytical chemistry was originally a major in applied chemistry (industrial and instrumental analysis). Study on simultaneous determination of 1. multi-components. Aiming at the complex system containing multi-components, the method and basic theory of directly and simultaneously determining the content of each component without pre-separation are emphatically studied.
2. Separation and analysis of natural products. The separation and analysis of amino acids and effective components of Chinese herbal medicine, as well as the molecular weight distribution and structural characterization of oligomeric chitosan were mainly studied by using spectral and chromatographic analysis techniques.
3. Analysis of bio-oxygen related materials. Paramagnetic vibrator is mainly used to study the relationship between oxygen-sensitive paramagnetic materials and different biological oxygen concentrations, so as to judge the pathological changes of tissues or the changes of their physiological functions through different biological oxygen concentrations.
4. Study on antioxidant activity of natural products. The antioxidant activity of effective components in natural products was studied by modern instrumental analysis.
5. Environmental analysis. Focus on the analysis of pollutants in gas, including the characteristics and sources of organic pollutants in atmospheric aerosols, and the analysis methods of harmful substances in cigarette smoke.
