Ip Man in history, what is the strength of Kung Fu?
Ip Man's experience in history is far more wonderful than that in movies.

Ip Man, whose real name is Ye Jiwen. My ancestral home is Nanhai County, Guangdong Province, and I was born in Foshan. Ip Man was gifted in his early years, but he was sickly. It happened that Chen Huashun, a famous Wing Chun teacher at that time, rented the ancestral hall of Ip Man as a disciple, so Ip Man had the honor to learn Wing Chun from Chen Huashun. After he died of a stroke, Ip Man practiced hard with his brother Wu for three years. Since then, he has been very fond of Kung Fu. Later, because of the unstable situation, the family sent IP Man to Hong Kong to study, and asked her sister who had married in Hong Kong to help take care of IP Man. At this time, Ye Wen was 16 years old. Besides going to school, he spends all day in the boxing gym and learns boxing from his teacher, Bo Liangbi.

1924, graduated from IP Man University. At first, his family planned to let Ip Man go to Kobe, Japan for further study, away from the war in his hometown. But at that time, because of an accident, he didn't make it, and Ip Man stayed at his cousin's house in Hong Kong. During this period, Ip Man got to know Zhang Yongcheng and soon established a relationship. I got married the next year. As for, the only thing we can know is that Zhang, a diplomat who reformed in Guangxu at the end of the Qing Dynasty, is a descendant relative, and she is also considered as a imperial concubine queen.

1926, IP Man returned to Foshan. At this time, his family was well-off and well-fed. In addition to learning martial arts from my second brother Wu and several other friends all day, I went out to various brothels for fun with some rich children, and even got an official position in the then Republic of China Flower Donation Bureau (the organization that collected flower tax from brothels at that time). At this time, IP Man has made his mark in the local martial arts field. In their spare time, Mr. and Mrs. Wu Ye often gather in the Opium Museum opened by Yao Linkai to learn skills from many rich martial arts children and get to know a number of outstanding modern martial artists such as Yao Qi and Ruan Qishan. 1938, when the Japanese army occupied Foshan, Yejiazhuang was changed to the official residence by Li Daoxuan, then the county magistrate and police chief of Nanhai, also known as Xuan Lu. Ip Man's family is not the same as before. In order to make a living, IP Man began to accept his disciples to teach boxing.

1949, New China was founded. Because IP Man had previously joined the Kuomintang Central Organization and served as a captain of the National Army, he was afraid of being investigated and bringing trouble to his family. He left his wife and three young children for the time being, took his eldest daughter to Macau with a pass at night, and then went to Hong Kong. When I came to Hong Kong to change my Hong Kong identity card, I changed my name to Ye Yi. His wife and children also returned to Foshan after receiving their ID cards in Hong Kong 1950. Unfortunately, China and Britain announced on New Year's Day in 195 1 that they would block the Hong Kong border and be separated forever.

It was not until Zhang Yongcheng died in Foshan in 1960 that the two sons moved to Hong Kong.

When I first came to Hong Kong, it was introduced by my good friend CoCo Lee (Tian Pei), who is the secretary of the Hong Kong and Kowloon Hotel Staff Union. I'll settle down in the trade union of the Hong Kong Kowloon Hotel in Sham Shui Po first. At that time, Liang was the chairman of the trade union. Liang Xiang studied martial arts since childhood and taught Cai Lifo and Longmoqiao in his spare time. Liang Xiang learned that Ye Wen practiced martial arts and fought side by side with him, so he became the first disciple in Hong Kong. Zhao Yun was the only disciple in Ip Man's life who gave him a plaque before his death? Wing Chun orthodoxy? Today, this plaque is still hanging on Zhao Yun's son. Since then, Wing Chun Boxing has been carried forward, and 1955 established a fixed boxing hall, which is also when Bruce Lee joined.

From 65438 to 0954, IP Man was unwilling to teach and began to smoke opium. Liang Xiang and Luo Yao often coaxed each other. However, Ip Man often does not listen, but does it? Punishment? Advise his disciples. Finally, Xu Shangtian, together with other disciples, asked Ip Man to stop smoking opium by signing a joint letter. After reading the letter, Ye Wen said nothing and found the only unsigned Wu for help. Wu Can put Ip Man in Li Zhengwu Village, introduced him to a Shanghai woman, and later gave birth to a son, Ye Shaohua. However, I can't let go of the leaves. He felt that his great apprentice, Liang Xiang, caused all this, and Liang Xiang was scared to hide in Macao for a year. He didn't come back to explain until Ye Wen's anger subsided. Finally, under the concern of his disciples, Ip Man gave up opium.

In his later years, Ye Wen was unable to teach boxing and handed over most Christian affairs to Wu Can, a teaching assistant. Later, I simply moved to my second son, Ye, and didn't ask about the boxing hall, which was equivalent to closing the boxing hall and no longer being an apprentice. However, more and more people are learning Wing Chun Boxing, and Ip Man will give you some advice when he is happy. At the suggestion of disciple Deng Sheng, 1968 established the Wing Chun Sports Association, with the original purpose of making the old people of Ye Wen live a carefree life. But later, more and more people learned about Wing Chun through Wing Chun Games and began to learn Wing Chun.

1972 65438+ On February 2nd, Ip Man died peacefully sitting on the sofa in his residence in Cai Tong Street, Mong Kok.

As a master of martial arts, IP Man has learned martial arts since he was a child. Of course, he has nothing to say. At that time, his name was Wing Chun in Hong Kong. King of thugs? It is said that the gun in the gangster's hand was seized and the barrel was broken, which was difficult to find. But when I first arrived in Hong Kong, the public security in Hong Kong was very chaotic, and gangsters often made trouble in hotels. Ip Man often maintains law and order with trade union disciples at night, and also learns from Liang, a martial arts master at that time. He is convinced of his role as Liang and worships him as a teacher. It can be seen that IP Man's fist is still very powerful.
