Who knows the brief introduction of Dr. Zhang Shao, the inventor of Yujinfang?
Zhang Shao (1906~ 1987) is a native of Lujiapo, Niefen Village, Dongsong Township, Luoning County, Luoyang, Henan Province.

1933 graduated from Medical College of Henan University, and was admitted to Leicester Medical Research Institute with honors the following year.

1937 received the doctorate in medicinal chemistry and the doctorate in medical treatment from Leicester Institute of Medicine, UK. In the same year, he was invited to become a researcher at St. John's Hopkin Medical College in the United States. Two years later, he received a doctorate in biochemistry, so he was called a "three-sided doctor".

1940 was invited by Manchester Medical College to teach and was hired as "Professor Zheng Da" (the highest level). In the prime of life, Zhang Shao made an indispensable contribution to the invention and development of penicillin with his skillful knowledge in medicine and pharmacy, and became the backbone of the development of penicillin. The British Empire, which discriminated against Chinese for a long time, awarded the Royal Medical Association life membership and became one of only four Chinese members of the early Pacific Medical Association.

From 65438 to 0949, Dr. Zhang Shao gave up his comfortable life abroad and returned to Shanghai as the director and chemist of Shanghai Biochemical Pharmaceutical Factory.

1954 ~ 1962 was treated unfairly.

1970, he went to Lujiapo village, a remote and barren village in Luoning County, Henan Province, and continued to study Chinese medicine with crocks.

The independent synthesis of triacontanol from 1982 has attracted the attention of the local government. Under the care of the then Deputy Secretary of Henan Provincial Party Committee, he resumed his work and was hired as the chief engineer of Luoyang Biochemical Pharmaceutical Factory (the predecessor of Luoyang Xinchundu Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd.).

1985, Chinese medicine, western medicine and biochemical drugs were developed into a trinity prescription "Yangmingbao" (Yujinfang used to be a name), which shocked both at home and abroad.

From 65438 to 0987, when 80-year-old Dr. Zhang Shao was developing the specific drug "Xinsheng 1No." in Luo Yang, he died with regret because of overwork ... Dr. Zhang Shao devoted himself to writing all his life: his main works were Introduction to Biochemistry, Blood Chemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology, Bacteriology and Experimental Physics. The translated medical works include Cecil's Internal Medicine, Application of Three Anatomies in Surgery, Medical Classics and so on.

Li Shizhen worked hard all his life and left a Compendium of Materia Medica to the people of China. I, Zhang Shao, have no ambition to be a doctor. Familiar with Chinese and western medicine, studied in Europe and America, and won the title of doctor three times. However, my fate is perverse, and I only wish to serve the world with a hundred wishes. It is really unwilling and ambitious. There is no other wish in this life. If I can leave a good medicine for the world, I will die without regret!
