The total score of retired soldiers who apply for adult colleges and universities can be increased by 10. Retired soldiers who apply for self-employment in colleges and universities can get extra points of 10. Among them, those who won the second-class merit during their service or were awarded the honorary title by units above the war zone can add 20 points, and retired candidates will be given priority admission under the same conditions as other candidates. Incorporating retired soldiers into the scope of single recruitment in higher vocational colleges can be exempted from cultural quality examination, and vocational adaptability test or vocational skill test related to applying for majors can be adopted.

The enlistment experience of higher vocational college students can be regarded as graduation internship experience. Graduating students in higher vocational colleges only need to complete graduation practice after completing professional theory courses and obtaining credits required by graduation regulations.
