4. Freshmen must pay the tuition fee for the first year in accordance with Annex 3 within 1 month after the start of school. Failure to pay tuition fees on time will affect enrollment.
Schools can assist students from poor families to apply for national student loans at the postgraduate stage, and new students can report for admission after entering the school.

5. Freshmen (excluding on-the-job orientation, MBA, MPA, MEM and other part-time graduate students, excluding master's and doctoral students in our school) must log in to the "orientation system" through the orientation website in advance, complete the accommodation application before August 15, and pay the accommodation fee for the first year on time according to Annex 3. Freshmen who have not applied for accommodation will not be arranged. The school does not provide accommodation for on-the-job orientation, MBA, MPA, MEM and other part-time graduate students. Freshmen who apply for accommodation should bring their own luggage, carefully read and fill in the Letter of Commitment for Postgraduates' Application for Accommodation in Dalian University of Technology (Annex 4), and submit it to the postgraduate counselor after admission; Students who arrive at school in advance cannot live in the student apartment in advance.
Second, the on-site registration process and matters needing attention
1, 2022 The registration time for freshmen is from 8: 00 to 20: 00 on August 27th and 28th, and the registration places and accommodation areas of all departments (colleges) are arranged. 2. Freshmen must report on time with the original valid ID card (ID card, military officer's card, passport). When new graduates report for duty, they should submit the electronic registration form of the academic certificate of the Ministry of Education to their department (college).
Those who are unable to report on time for some reason should log in to the "Welcome System" through the welcome website, fill in the information of "Delayed Registration", and ask for leave from their department (college) and campus with relevant written proof (see Annex 7 for contact information), and report to the Training Department and Research Department of the Graduate School for approval. If you can't report on time due to illness, you should attach a hospital certificate; Other reasons can not report on time, should be attached to the original unit or street, township certificate; Leave time shall not exceed two weeks (from the date of registration). Those who fail to ask for leave or ask for leave overdue shall be deemed to have given up their admission qualification except for reasons such as force majeure.
3. Freshmen with registered permanent residence in Dalian (including three northern cities of Dalian: Pulandian, Wafangdian and Zhuanghe) are not allowed to move their registered permanent residence into our collective registered permanent residence. Freshmen from other provinces and cities can voluntarily move their accounts into our collective accounts. The settlement of new students is expected to be completed in early 2023, and accounts cannot be used before that; You are not allowed to move out of your hukou during school, and you must move out of your hukou after graduation. Students who need to move into the household registration must fill in the relevant information in the orientation system before reporting. At present, the policy of "one place in the province" is adopted in the migration of household registration in Liaoning Province. If the freshmen in the province need to move to registered permanent residence, they don't need to go to the local police station to print the household registration certificate, but only need to bring the original and photocopy of the household registration book (the household registration certificate is not allowed), the original admission notice and the photocopy of the resident ID card at the time of registration, which will be collected by their departments and handed over to the Household Registration Section of the Security Department. Freshmen outside the province need to print the proof of household registration migration at the original police station, and bring the original proof of household registration migration, the original admission notice and a copy of the resident ID card when reporting; After being collected by the department, it will be handed over to the Household Registration Section of the Security Office for processing. The information of the new household registration certificate outside the province must be clear, and the name, gender, nationality and ID number must be completely consistent with the admission notice and ID card. 4. It is suggested that freshmen who come by train should check their luggage with the car (don't choose the way of "package with the car"). The school collects the checked baggage in a unified way, and the freshmen receive it at the reception point of the department (hospital) after reporting. Write down the student's name, student number (subject to the admission notice) and department (college) on the "consignment mark" and stick it on both ends of the parcel. (To avoid the phenomenon that luggage is difficult to find after the marks are damaged, please stick at least two marks and cover them with transparent tape for protection). 5. Freshman party member (including party member's preparation, development targets, party activists and party applicants) should fill in relevant information in the orientation system before reporting, go through the formalities of organizational relationship transfer with the original party organization, cooperate with the inspection, sort out and improve party member, prepare party member, development targets, party activists and party applicants, and ensure timely filing. After entering the school, you should contact the organizer and the teachers of the department (college) in time.
