Can college students be punished for drinking at school?
Whether college students are punished for drinking on campus depends on the regulations of the school. Usually the school stipulates that drinking is not punished, but things like drinking too much or fighting after drinking will be punished.

Taking Nanjing Institute of Technology as an example, according to Article 2 of the Regulations on the Prohibition of Students' Alcoholism (Excessive Drinking), it is forbidden to drink alcohol and store all kinds of alcohol and drinking utensils in the dormitory. Any violation of discipline such as staying out at night, fighting and damaging public property caused by drinking will be dealt with in strict accordance with the school rules and regulations;

Those who violate the law shall be dealt with by the public security and judicial departments. If a student is ill or even life-threatening because of drinking, the students who participate in organizing drinking and persuading drinking will be investigated for school discipline and civil liability in addition to the responsibility of the parties.

All of the following conditions are regarded as alcoholism.

(a) drinking in and out of school was found on the spot or reported and verified;

(two) to participate in the teaching activities prescribed by the school after drinking;

(three) found in the school dormitory or other places of study and life left a large number of wine bottles;

(4) Behavior after drinking;

(5) Having bad words and deeds after drinking;

(6) drunken troublemakers.
