Language requirements: There are two kinds of language requirements for graduate students in Leeds University: teaching type and research type.

Language requirements for teaching-oriented projects:

TOEFL requirements: 92 or above, listening+reading not less than 2 1, speaking not less than 23, and writing not less than 22.

IELTS requirements: 6.5 points or above, each item is not less than 6.0 points.

PTE requirements: 64 points or more, and each item is not less than 60 points.

Language requirements for research projects:

IELTS requirements: above 6.0, each item is not less than 5.5.

PTE requirements: more than 60 points, each item is not less than 56 points.

Academic achievement requirements

Teaching-oriented projects: Bachelor degree or above, Grade B honor, with an average score of 70-75 in domestic schools; Most projects require a second-class A honorary bachelor's degree or above, and the corresponding domestic schools are divided into 75-80 points; The first-class honours bachelor's degree in domestic schools is 85 points. Research-oriented projects (including M.Phil and PhD): Generally, a first-class or second-class A honorary bachelor's degree or above is required, corresponding to 75-85 points for domestic undergraduate courses. Some projects require a master's degree to apply, and undergraduates cannot apply directly. In addition, you can also apply for research projects directly after graduating from the teaching-oriented master's degree.
