The school was formerly known as Guoteng Software College of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, and was founded in July 2006 16. On July 14, 2003, Guoteng Software College of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and Guoteng Microelectronics College of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China merged into Guoteng College of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
