Changing majors mainly depends on the final exam results (also called grade points) of freshmen last semester. Only the top 50% of the students are eligible to submit an application for changing their major, otherwise the academic affairs office will call back.
For example, the top 50% of soil survey, mechanical and electrical engineering, resources and environment, and material metallurgy can be basically successful, and the top 20% of electrical and electronic engineering, the Institute of Information requires at least 10% of the results. Generally, you will submit your application for changing your major in March next semester, announce your grades in May, and formally transfer to a new major in September.
