Appreciation of Wang Jiying's Prose "The Glory of Mo Lu"
When a distinguished guest comes home, or hangs a calligraphy and painting inscribed by others at home, we often use the humble word "resplendent and magnificent" to express that we feel very honored. If you know the house, this residential building, which was built in the early years of the Republic of China, will definitely feel pious to the families who have lived here. It used to be the resting place of the Hua family in Dounan Village, Chenggong. Because of the relationship with the family for two years and the simple body of the three Liu Erfang, it has withstood the changes of wind and rain for more than a hundred years, and was rebuilt in 2005, and its old appearance took on a new look. Today, even in the cloudy dusk, this old-fashioned building still exudes the brilliance of human nature.

"Fahrenheit Tomb" is its original name. It sits west to east, halfway up the hill of Santai Mountain in Chenggong. The once "tomb house" was lonely and empty, with graves, plants and animals as companions. The word "tomb" in the name gives it a bleak artistic conception.

During the period of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, half the motherland became the enemy. In order to avoid the Japanese bombing of Kunming, some departments in The National SouthWest Associated University and Yunnan were forced to move tribute. /kloc-in the summer of 0/938, the writer Bing Xin and her husband Wu Wenzao left occupied Peiping with their children Wu Ping and their daughter Wu Bing and Qingwu. After several twists and turns, they arrived in Kunming in September and then moved to Chenggong. At that time, the houses in Chenggong County were full of teachers evacuated from various colleges and universities, and only the "Fahrenheit Tomb" on Santai Mountain was still empty. The family first lived in the villagers' home, and soon moved to the Confucius Temple of National Southwest Associated University where the Institute of Chinese Studies was located, and finally lived in the "Fahrenheit Tomb". The fate of a "grave" has been rewritten because of Bing Xin's occupancy.

The word "tomb" in Lu's name is dim, cold and vulnerable. Bing Xin took its homonym "Mo" and renamed "Tomb Lu" as "Mo Lu". A word "quiet", like warm sun and wind, shines here and the wind blows gently. Since then, the quiet beauty of the living environment in Chenggong Mountain has been shined by Silent Residence.

1940 On February 28th, Bing Xin published "Dark Green Test Pen" in Hong Kong Ta Kung Pao, in which he described and praised: "The living environment in Chenggong Mountain is quieter and more beautiful than my residence in the western suburbs of Beiping. My apartment building, whose front porch faces east, faces the city wall. The pheasant is winding, the pine shadow is deep blue, and the sky is high and wide. It's best to watch the wind and rain on the porch. Seen from the horizon, white smoke, white fog and rain feet fly obliquely to the front of the building like ropes. After crossing the distant mountain and the near tower, the sound of the eaves was scattered. " "My apartment building, the back window faces west. The bookcase is under the window, only under the window. There are eight scenes in Chenggong, and the third scene is already visible. Looking north is' Fengling Songshan', looking forward is' the tide shines in the west' and looking south is' the fish is full of stars'. " "Looking back at the suburban house where I live, whether I live long or short, I'm afraid it's the most pleasant thing in Moru. On the green hills, on the ripples of the lake, on the mellow and cordial scenery, no place can catch up with Moru ... Here is a poem by Wordsworth ... "

Wordsworth, an English romantic poet who worships nature, has a simple, fresh, delicate and lofty artistic conception. When Bing Xin used Wordsworth's poem as a metaphor, Molu was still deserted, deserted, empty and lonely, close to the cemetery and adjacent to plants, birds and animals.

Today, 78 years later, with my back to Mei Ruxuan's courtyard door, I feel the "Mei Ruxuan's Excerpts from Pen Examination" engraved on the stone wall outside the door, and I feel a "Bing Xin" who loves nature and is optimistic about the sunshine.

Statue in front of the stone wall, Wu Wenzao standing in front of Elegance, Bing Xin holding the light dance, sitting in a chair. Wu Bing, standing on both sides of the armrest of the chair, leans against Bing Xin's arm to show her attachment to her mother. From the smiling and warm expression of this family, we can imagine the happiness of Merlot's life.

The quiet beauty of the environment and the harmony of life will reflect each other. When I first arrived in Chenggong, Wu Ping was eight years old, Wu Bing was four years old and Qingwu was one year old. Her children are around her knees, and Bing Xin is the most hardworking mother. Sewing clothes and quilts with needles, washing hands and cooking soup are all essential in daily life. Teach children to write, draw and tell stories, and the trivia of cultural enlightenment is entangled. The youngest daughter wants to adopt a puppy. Bing Xin asked her to do four things: people must feed dogs when eating; When people drink water, dogs should be fed water. You can't bathe the dog every day, but you must brush it every day; Because there are wolves in the surrounding Woods, the dog should be called home every day. In this way, the moment when children were taught to respect life lasted for a hundred years, but the glory did not fade, which showed good intentions.

Wu Wenzao, who teaches at Yunnan University, had to take a small train to Luoyang Railway Station in the east of Chenggong before returning to Meiru from Kunming, and then rode more than ten miles to the county seat, which was quite troublesome and didn't come back until the weekend. Most of the time, Bing Xin takes care of three children by herself. She is very tired. However, in Bing Xin's words, what overflowed was satisfaction and joy. In the morning, Bing Xin loves to sit alone in the Woods outside the ink road with a book. "Two little girls, wearing orange and pink sweaters, are playing games in the square, making the universe in front of them very smooth and vivid." "Every Saturday night, I guess the train from Kunming has arrived, and with the time to go to town by car from the railway station, my children and I went to the wall to wait for Wen Zao and the guests he brought. As long as they hear the sound of hooves on the mountain road, the children shout with one voice:' Pass on the name!' On hearing' I am Beiping, so is Luo Changpei', the children clapped their hands and cheered. "Between the lines, the brilliance of maternal love warms people's hearts. With love and expectation, who cares about the hard work of being a mother?

Wu Wenzao, who brings guests back every Saturday, treats people peacefully and generously, making Bing Xin as warm as the sun. After the renovation, the bust statue of Bing Xin in the left corner of the exhibition hall on the first floor is dignified and demure, smiling, determined and warm. On the wall behind her, 1939 In the photo taken by Muru, Wu Wenzao sat on a cane chair and watched his wife smile happily. How many smiling moments did you have when you were in Muru? How many times have their dreams been bound here since they left Chenggong? How many happy sunshine did Lu, who was temporarily silent in the war, accumulate?

There are great scholars talking and laughing, and there is no lack of lively time in the silent cabin. Luo Changpei, a linguist who teaches in The National SouthWest Associated University with Wu Wenzao, is a frequent visitor to Mo Lu. At that time, Mei Yiqi and Yang Zhensheng, a professor of Chinese Department of The National SouthWest Associated University, who presided over the school affairs in The National SouthWest Associated University, also came to the dark green to get together with famous scholars such as Fei Xiaotong, Dai, Shen Congwen and Bing Xin's students. Now, on the powder wall outside the Molu courtyard, in the middle of the railing above the main entrance of the small building in the courtyard, there are four big characters inscribed by Fei Xiaotong, which are particularly eye-catching. Looking at the square table and high-backed chair with mottled wood paint on the first floor of the building, the old things are blurred, and the flash of thinking collision in the past flashes in the pictures and texts displayed in the house. As the hostess of Bing Xin, what impressed the guests deeply was a cup of tea, a simple meal, an oil lamp, or a heartfelt talk and fresh and natural poems? Or both, and there are more reasons.

Bing Xin, who lives in dark green, is a daughter attached to nature, a mother of her children, a wife deeply loved by her husband, a hospitable host, a talented poet and writer, and a lady who shoulders social responsibilities and cares about the country and the people.

She volunteered to teach at Chenggong County Middle School at the invitation of Chang, the headmaster of the school. She teaches students composition, with special emphasis on the expression of true feelings; Teach students to be human, with special emphasis on love and truth. There is a student named Bi Zhongqun. In My Mother, he expressed his mother's hardship and kindness with true narration and praised the depth and breadth of maternal love with sincere feelings. After reading it, Bing Xin immediately put five bills in an envelope and put them in her exercise book as encouragement. It was Bi Zhongqun himself who was deeply moved by the money in the envelope.

1940, Song Meiling invited Bing Xin to Chongqing to do women's work. Bing Xin is leaving Chenggong. Li Peilun, who had already graduated to work, heard about it and hurried to see him off, pleading with the teacher to keep it as a souvenir for Mo Bao. Bing Xin wrote a banner on the spot, the content of which was "Linjiang Du Xianjian Heather Manuscript" written by the famous poet Lu Qian at that time:

"Castle Peak has ten thousand kinds of worries, and the war is still full in the southeast. When can I see Kyushu? Even if the world is empty, the world is empty.

Huma peeked at Jiang Chen's Yong ying, and some people were calm. Wang Shijiang Town met. Jiuyuan Weng should hate, and there are few heroes in the world. "

What Li Peilun treasures is the love between teachers and students, and it is also Mr. Bing Xin's patriotic feelings of worrying about the country and the people. The first sentence inscribed by Bing Xin has been engraved on the stone, shining outside the wall of Meirunan. Bing Xin's soft love and broad feelings are also reflected in the school motto and school song of "Sincerely Believe in Hongyi" written by her for Chenggong Middle School: "Xishan is gray and the sea is long, and Qingyuan is above my hometown. Teachers and students get together to discuss strings and recite music. I believe Hongyi, the school motto should not be forgotten. The future is difficult, with a long way to go and constant self-improvement. For your own benefit, for the benefit of the people. " How many souls did this flashing light shine at that time and later generations?

Bing Xin's Mo Lu Shi Bi is not only for describing praise. From the quiet beauty of Muru and its surrounding scenery, she is associated with occupied Peiping and the fallen rivers and mountains everywhere, expressing her unswerving anti-Japanese ambition and deep affection for the motherland and relatives.

White walls, gray gatehouses, red wooden doors, roofs and walls covered with gray tiles. There are several flowers and trees in the courtyard, such as Lagerstroemia indica, Zizhu, Osmanthus fragrans, Banyan, Bai Mei and Magnolia, and the two-story main building and the north and south wing rooms are painted with red paint. From the appearance, this restored Muru must be much neater, brighter and more elegant than Bingxin Tomb.

On the second floor of Merlot, there are three simple rooms and three small windows, and the furnishings are extremely simple. Bing Xinwen's bedroom is on the left, with a bed, a table, two cabinets and a washstand. It is made of rough wooden furniture. An aluminum kettle and a tin thermos have lost their true colors. In the study, shabby tables, stools and rattan chairs, the most conspicuous is the narrow wooden table under the window. There is an oil lamp on the table. It was under this window and in front of this desk that Bing Xin wrote "Ink Road Test Pen" by the light of this lamp. The child's bedroom on the right is also cramped and empty. When the white-haired light dance returned to Muru, she recalled that there was no good furniture at home when she was a child. The sleeping rooms are all canvas beds, and there is a cushion on the box, which is also a bed.

Bing Wu Xin Wen Zao went to Kunming, and then to Chenggong Dark Green, which was almost a flight. Ten-month-old light dance left Beiping ravaged by Japanese invaders with a pair of young children. She first took a boat to Tianjin, then went by sea via Shanghai and Hong Kong, and then took a small train from Haiphong, Annan (then Vietnam) to Kunming. The journey is "difficult and tortuous" and the mood is "bad and sad". When their family moved from the villagers' home to the Confucius Temple in the Institute of Ethnic Studies of National Southwest Associated University before Chenggong moved into Meiru, Dai, a professor at the General Assembly, wrote a couplet welcoming Bing Xin. "Half the room is swaying, and everyone is tempered." This pair of couplets hanging in Mei Ruao's study on the second floor is like a mirror, reflecting Bing Xin's shabby life, hard work and spiritual fortitude in tribute.

During his stay in Meiru, Bing Xin learned the bad news of his father's death in Peiping from his eldest brother's letter. Before reading the letter, a mouthful of blood rushed up. As my father's favorite daughter, my father failed to fulfill his filial piety at the end of his life and could not go back to mourn when he left. Bing Xin was very sad.

It was Bing Xin, the great disaster of this country, who lit up a grave with the warmth of heart and the brilliance of words, illuminating the souls of all sentient beings at that time and later.

It was a cold winter afternoon when I went to Meru. The taxi driver didn't know the way and didn't take me to the People's Armed Forces Department compound in Chenggong District where Mo Lu was located. After searching for a long time, I finally came to the door of the armed forces department. Walking into the quiet room, I carefully read and photographed all the graphic materials displayed in the north-south wing and the small building with my mobile phone. Walking up the narrow wooden stairs, I filled several chairs in Bingxin's bedroom and study. Facing the small window of her study, I still feel very warm and full of enthusiasm.

When I went downstairs at night, Muru was in complete darkness. I walked out of the door, behind me, in the vicissitudes of life, on the wooden plaque with yellow characters on the red background on the first floor of the small building, Bing Xin wrote "With love, everything is there", like a warm light, illuminating my heart.
