How many private universities are there in China?

By the end of 20 1 1, there were more than 400 private universities in China, including 390 undergraduate universities (303 independent colleges and 87 private universities). Judging from the number of schools, 20 1 1 is more than 20 10/6. Judging from the number of students, by the end of 20 1 1, the number of students enrolled had reached 5 million, an increase of 330,000 compared with 201. At the school-running level, 17 independent colleges were transformed into independent undergraduate colleges and universities.
