The college has strong scientific research strength. Our institute is responsible for 27 national natural science foundation projects (including major sub-projects of national natural science foundation) and national key science and technology projects, more than 20 Shandong provincial science foundation and coal science foundation projects and provincial and ministerial-level planned projects, and also undertakes a large number of application development projects entrusted by enterprises and institutions. Especially in computer network, multimedia and data mining, graphic image processing and 3D visual simulation, database technology, parallel and distributed processing, automatic control, design and development of intelligent electronic information products, enterprise management and information system construction, application of economic model and financial mathematics, operational research and its application, differential equation and dynamic system, nonlinear theory and so on. , with strong scientific research strength, has made many achievements. In recent years, teachers in our college have published more than 200 academic papers every year, many of which have been published in some national journals, university journals and foreign authoritative journals such as China Science, Science Bulletin, Mathematics Magazine, China Computer Magazine, Software Magazine, Mathematics Yearbook, Applied Mathematics Magazine, and some of them have been published by SCI, EI and ISTP.
