1. Introduction
Jinci Campus is located in Jinci, a famous cultural city with a long history of 2,500 years, surrounded by green trees, quiet and elegant; Jinzhong Campus is located in Qixian County, Jinzhong City-adjacent to the Qiao Family Courtyard, the birthplace of Shanxi merchants. It is a university campus dominated by European architectural style.
There are 7 157 students, 749 faculty members and 48/kloc-0 full-time teachers, among whom 86.2% are teachers with senior titles.
2. Teacher setup
The college now has eight departments, including clinical medicine department, nursing department, stomatology department, prevention management department, laboratory department, rehabilitation department, imaging department and basic department.
It has 13 majors, including clinical medicine, stomatology, anesthesiology, nursing, preventive medicine, medical examination technology, medical imaging technology, rehabilitation treatment, stomatology technology, optometry, pharmacy, pharmaceutical preparations and Chinese medicine.
20 17 stomatology specialty was approved as the dominant specialty construction project of provincial universities in Shanxi province; 20 18 nursing specialty was approved as a supporting project for the construction of undergraduate specialty with advantages and characteristics in provincial universities of Shanxi Provincial Department of Education.
The enrollment level of the college includes three levels: general college entrance examination, counterpart enrollment and general college entrance examination. The source of enrollment is mainly Shanxi Province, facing some provinces such as Fujian, Anhui, Shaanxi and Hubei. In 20 19, the college was approved to recruit international students.
3. Teaching practice hospital
Relying on the high-quality resources of Shanxi Medical University, the College has established 52 teaching hospitals and practice bases in Shanxi, Beijing, Tianjin, Xinjiang and other places, forming a number of teaching practice bases with wide scope and strong comprehensive strength.
