Wuyi University, located in Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province, is a multidisciplinary university focusing on engineering. He is a member of CDIO Engineering Education Alliance, a high-level university of science and engineering in Guangdong Province.
Wuyi University was established by Guangdong Provincial People's Government on 1985. 1990 became a bachelor's degree awarding unit. 1996 became a qualified undergraduate teaching unit. 1998 became a master's degree awarding unit. In 2008, the undergraduate teaching level evaluation was rated as excellent.
As of February 2023, the school campus covers an area of 1 1,000 mu with a total construction area of nearly 700,000 square meters. There are 20 teaching institutions and 82 undergraduate majors (directions);
