Liaocheng University Campus Construction
Liaocheng University is divided into east campus and west campus, which are located on Hunan Road and Huayuan Road respectively. In order to facilitate teachers and students and promote the sharing of resources between the two campuses, in 2005, the school built a bridge connecting the east and west campuses. The east-west length of Lianqiao is about 816m, and the west end crosses Huayuan Road, Ergan Canal and Tuhai River, reaching the north side of the East School office building. Bridge width13m, in which the carriageway is 8m wide and the sidewalks on both sides are 2.5m wide. The continuous bridge is supported by 29 piers, of which 4 piers in Tuhai River are difficult to construct. It will also become a scenic spot project in Liaocheng. Pedestrian ladders shall be installed at Huayuan Road, Ergan Canal and Tu Hai River embankment where the bridge passes, and viewing platforms and decorative arches shall be installed at appropriate positions on the bridge. After the completion of the bridge, pedestrians can climb the bridge directly through the escalator and enjoy the beautiful scenery around them on the viewing platform.

Liaocheng University Library is divided into West Campus Library and East Campus Yifu Library. The West Campus Library is located in the northeast of the beautiful West Campus. Its predecessor was the Library of Liaocheng Branch of Shandong Normal University, which was established in June 1974 1 1. In July, it was renamed as Liaocheng Teachers College Library 198 1. In September, 20001year, the library building jointly invested by the school and Liaocheng City was completed and put into use. In February, 2002, the Ministry of Education approved the renaming of Liaocheng Teachers College as Liaocheng University, and the library as Liaocheng University Library. The West School Library has a building area of 23,000 square meters and is equipped with stacks, reading rooms, academic lecture halls, catalogue halls and offices. There are 23 stacks and reading rooms in the library, and the multimedia audio-visual education facilities in the academic lecture hall are complete. The reading room is spacious and bright, with 4200 reading seats.

East Shaw Library is located in the center of East Campus, with a building area of 26,500 square meters. It was completed and put into use at the end of 2007. The whole building is palindrome structure, spacious and bright, featuring digitalization. It is a fully open borrowing form integrating collection, borrowing and reading. Its management technology is more modern and its service mode is more humanized.

The archives of Liaocheng University was established on February 28th, 2005 on the basis of the original comprehensive archives of Liaocheng University. Responsible for keeping and managing all kinds of archives of the whole school, including archives of the party and the masses, administration, teaching, scientific research, products and production, infrastructure, equipment, publishing, foreign affairs, accounting, audio-visual and so on.
