Since the beginning of this semester, in order to welcome the centenary of our school, various societies in our school have actively held a series of activities, which not only enriched the students' after-school life and exercised their abilities in all aspects, but also added beautiful colors to the centenary of our school.

Holding a good activity requires good creativity, good planning, good publicity and some financial support. But in the process of activities, we gradually found some problems.

1, current situation

All the expenses for the activities organized by the associations come from the membership fees paid by the freshmen (10 yuan/person). Each community can raise about 200-300 yuan a year, of which 30% is raised by the community department for fund mobilization, that is, part of the funds of the less active communities are allocated to the more active communities, so that these communities can have sufficient financial support and their activities can achieve the expected or even better results.

This year, the club department received 490 yuan of mobilization funds, and most of the membership fees collected by the club were basically used up in last semester's activities. At this stage, the cost of activities comes from this part of the mobilization funds. Since the beginning of school, the handicraft contest and the knowledge contest of ancient rhyme literature have cost 335 yuan, and the upcoming English speech contest is expected to cost more than 150 yuan. The mobilization funds of the community sector will also be less and less.

2. Past situation

In previous years, some of the funds for community activities were sponsored by foreign associations. However, in 20XX, foreign associations merged into the Student Union to become the Ministry of Foreign Associations, which mainly provided financial support for various large-scale activities organized by the Student Union, while the sponsorship provided by the associations was discounted.

There were not many activities organized last year. Some activities are jointly organized with the student union department, and the activities are funded by the student union, so there is no obvious problem in terms of funds.

This year is a special year, the centenary birthday of our alma mater. At the school's club meeting, the school leaders have repeatedly expressed their attention to the clubs, and they also hope that the clubs can? Awesome? One hundred delegations presented gifts to add color to the centennial celebration. So I believe that if all the associations in our hospital can? Awesome? Development, then the banner of the School of Life Sciences will be louder.

I believe that this is not a short-term problem. If the association wants to grow and develop, the funding problem will exist for a long time.

3. If the funding problem of community activities is solved.

On this issue, I brainstormed with members of the club department and the presidents of various clubs. The final discussion results are arranged as follows according to feasibility:

1) The Societies Department made a budget according to the activities held by various societies in previous years, and applied to the teachers in the college office in September to allocate this year's activities funds to the Youth League Committee. When each club holds activities, the club department will apply to the Youth League Committee for the use of this part of the funds.

2) Combine with the International Liaison Department of the Student Union. Before the event, the International Liaison Department will raise sponsorship for the event funds. However, considering that the International Liaison Department has to sponsor the activities of the Student Union at the same time, and the success rate of sponsorship now, the activities may be delayed, and there may be problems in the allocation of funds among various societies.

3) The Association will set up its own outreach team to win sponsorship before the event. You can ask the International Liaison Department to teach you some experience, but it needs long-term exercise, and considering the safety of students, this method can be considered, but it is not feasible.

After discussion, we all agree that the first scheme is feasible.

Therefore, we have counted the activity expenses of various associations this year, as well as the estimated expenses of activities aborted due to lack of funds, as follows:
